FUNCTION

Placement holes for additional wooden armrests are pre-drilled into the frame of Day&Night sofa / chair bed. Additional wooden armrests are sold separately and can be attached to either end of the sofa or both. In the chair bed the armrest can only be attached to one end of the chair, because the chair is opened by lifting it to the side.

Ordering

We want to act responsibly and minimize extra product deliveries, and that's why we hope that our customers buy products for a need, not just for the joy of buying. The products in our collection are designed to be long-lasting and as versatile as possible, so that you can enjoy them for years to come.

Delivery

The stock products you have ordered will be delivered within 5-12 days. Some products are delivered directly from the manufacturer. If the product is not directly in stock, the delivery time varies from product to product. If you order more than one product from different collections at the same time, they may arrive at different times depending on the product manufacturer and delivery time.
 
We deliver online store orders only to mainland Finland. Delivery options for small products are delivery to the nearest pick-up point (Post, Postnord or Matkahuolto points) or home delivery. Larger furniture is always delivered home. Depending on the postcode area, it is possible to choose additional services for the home delivery of larger furniture.
 
Always check the condition of the packaging and the product when you receive your order! In the case of transport damage, please contact us immediately by e-mail info@tapioanttila.com. Also take pictures of the damage and attach them to your email. If you receive your order directly to your home, ask your shipping provider to record any visible damage.

Returns

You can return the product you ordered within 14 days. The returned product must be intact, unused and in its original packaging. A used product may prevent a refund or lower the value of your refund. When returning the product, always fill out the return form first. Shipping costs for the return of a faultless product are the responsibility of the customer. We will refund a faultless product within 14 days of receiving the product.

If there is a fault in the product, please contact us immediately by e-mail info@tapioanttila.com. Attach a picture (or more if necessary) to the email showing the error and another picture showing the entire product. We always try to correct the error first. If the error cannot be corrected, we will replace the product with a new one.

General care instructions:

Vacuum the cushions regularly using a textile nozzle and air the cushions outside from time to time. Dust and fibers from other textiles can over time cause pilling on the surface of the fabric. Lint can be removed with a lint remover if desired.

Stain removal:

Remove stains on the surface of the fabric as soon as possible so that the stain does not have time to absorb. You can first try to absorb damp stains with a clean, undyed cloth and, if necessary, use a detergent intended for upholstery. Always test the detergent first on a small hidden area to make sure that the detergent in question is suitable for the fabric in question. If local cleaning does not help, the covers can be removed and washed. When washing, you must follow the fabric-specific washing instructions and we recommend using the services of professional laundries.

Other things to consider:

The life of the cushion parts can be extended by turning them over from time to time, so that the wear is applied more evenly to them.

Can I choose any fabric for upholstered products?

Answer: The fabrics that can be chosen for our products are shown in our online store on each product's own page. If you're in the mood to get something flashy or otherwise just different, we suggest turning to a local seamstress. Our products are loosely upholstered, so making and changing new covers is easy.

Can the delivery time be changed or requested?

Answer: Unfortunately, it is not possible. The products leave our warehouse on a first-come, first-served basis. You can ask our customer service for a more accurate estimate of the delivery time. If you have chosen a delivery to your home for your product, the transport company will contact you directly to agree on a more precise delivery time.

Where is my product made and where do the materials used in it come from?

Answer: It depends on your product. We have several different manufacturers in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with whom we have cooperated for a long time. The reason for collaborating with several different manufacturers is that different manufacturers have different know-how and, in terms of equipment, different capabilities to manufacture different products. We are in constant contact with them and have visited the factories, so we know the conditions under which our products are manufactured. In general, our manufacturers handle the procurement of materials, so there are many product-specific differences in them as well. Most of the materials used in our products come from Europe. This is one thing we are working on, so that we could gather more detailed information about where each raw material comes from. Unfortunately, this is a difficult and time-consuming process.
